This book has scarred my soul l, and as I read it my belief in humankind changed to some extent -and my possibly naive value system- despite having experienced and observed some pretty teetering morals over the years among us all as a whole. This felt so bleak and final and represented to me the depths of what people do to others- made worse by the fact that it is children that bore the brunt of the cruellest ‘ playing god’ scenarios seen here. Tragic though incisive, I have to admit that I was intrigued.
