I love sci-do movies as I do most genres. What really ruins movies for me is when the director insults the viewer’s intelligence. In the opening scene of Episode three, the setting by the mountain stream is supposedly “10 miles West of Boston”. It was OBVIOUSLY shot somewhere in the mountain west or western Canada. I recently watched another movie where the characters take off in a twin engined jet and land in a twin engined prop plane. This kind of lazy attitude toward the customer ruins this for me. It’s a shame. I was enjoying both shows. I can suspend disbelief for a lot of things but having the director or producer insult me is a deal breaker.

This is the weakest version of the Amazon Jack Ryan series. There are so many weak plot points, ridiculous suppositions and outright insults to the viewers intelligence. I was a fan of the series and waited for months only to be incredibly disappointed.
