Bhavya Mohnot – Google

A great film with some of the best performances. It has a good plot and what makes it great is the directing part. It has a slow yet engaging build-up that keeps us hooked on to the screens. The movie follows a constant pace for most of the time keeping us with the film all the time and giving a very natural experience. The background, pace, music and all are so nicely arranged that it creates an aura or vibe for the viewer. The end, however, feels like could have been more focused on and given more time to it, other than that it's very close to a perfect movie.

It is a great film filled with emotions. All the characters are very well portrayed and written. This film creates a relationship for the viewer with Alex. As the movie progresses you also develop with the protagonist and your views too. The dialogue and the narration are very fine. Keeping all the great camerawork, vista acting and all aside, for me the best this movie provides is the raw feelings, emotions or sentiments that are truly FELT.

The Pianist, it is a beautiful movie ironically. I felt this movie straight in my heart. The direction and acting of this film are top-notch. It does not say much most of the time but has the most perfect amount of silence it needs. It just flows through my body so elegantly and smoothly yet gives such a great impact. There's not much of a story here, just a man hiding in weird places during the war. Seen a lot of movies like this, but the way this one is portrayed with THE BEST music possible just takes my soul away. It made the worst scenario in human history so beautiful with its portrayal and direction that it felt so horrifying yet calm. I would like to specially mention all the piano scenes in the movie which were truly breathtaking for me. The scene where Adrian plays the piano for the officer and the one where he plays the piano in the air are what beauty is to me. I may have exaggerated my views on the film above but I enjoyed writing it so who cares.
