I should start by saying I don't like musicals or opera; even so this was just awful. Is this a comic book turned into an opera? I couldn't even sit through 20 minutes. It should've been anything else... An animated movie, a live action movie, a miniseries or just a 30 minute special presentation. It doesn't need to be told in song.
