What a great show! Great way to start my weekends, especially with Morgan Freeman's relaxing voice. Fascinating to learn about the beauty and tragedy of evolution of life on our planet while getting a perspective on our own place in its history.

Long-time Tolkien fan here. I have read and re-read LotR and Silmarillion as well as other of his Middle Earth books. I love this show. Yes, there are changes to the storyline amd timeline, but not to the broad strokes. They've done a phenomenal job with back stories that explain the characters' motivations for what we already know that they do/will do. I don't love Galadriel in Season 1, but that is a minor discordant note. Durin, his wife, Sauron, Pharazon, Elrond, Elendil, and Miriel are very nicely characterized. Visually, the show is gorgeous. In contrast to the muted colors of an older Middle Earth in Jackson's films, the rich royal colors make the setting feel like an earlier time. As for the pacing, it's a bit of a slow burn in the first season, but if you've READ Tolkien . . . well, it's a very authentic feel. All in all, it's a beautiful, complex weaving of multiple storylines worthy of the source material (the indices in RotK, NOT the Silmarillion).

This is such a fun, lighthearted movie with amazing music!

Love this film! A lot fun, pretty to watch. Good acting. Sure the plot isn't the most inspired, but it's entertaining.

A bad John Wick or poorly done Yellowstone on speed.

OMG! Season 2 finale of Your Honor!!! Had me bawling my eyes out. "The only reason I'm willing to entertain the notion that God exists is because I'm certain the devil does." - Fia Baxter The moral dilemmas. The unthinkable choices that have people throwing their dearest, highest-held values down the toilet. The twists and turns that throw enemies into uneasy friendships and back into enmity. The stark inequalities in the justice system. The beautiful jazz of New Orleans. The Oedipal descent into tragedy. And, oh, the amazing performances! The choices--protect a loved one? Lie? Do the right thing despite the horrific consequences? The poetic justice. The irony of the various relationships. WOW!!! The show is up for several awards, and it's easy to see why. Don't really want a Season 3 - Season 2 was a great wrap-up of the main arc from the first season - but I would LOVE to see a spin-off that takes up the Baxter/Conti-Desire turf war.

Chilling. Disturbing. DEEPLY thought-provoking. Every American should watch. How far would we take our disagreements? How important is it to get the perfect shot? What are relationships worth? (For those who asking in what universe Texas and California would be on the same side: that deliberately sidesteps any question of the film trying to take a certain political viewpoint.)

Hallmark does West Texas. Feel-good flick that's good for a few laughs, too.

What a fun watch! A grittier Star Wars meets Guardians of the Galaxy. A couple things far-fetched--the amount of time to harvest and set up the defenses, the one guy running around without his shirt when everyone else is wearing leather armor or heavy jackets--but all in all, a good show. Can't wait for the next installment!
