I don't understand why this show has gotten so much hate. It's set centuries before the 'main' star wars timeline so in turn many have complained about the lack of lore it holds. however it is only the first season and we have been given insight into potential new characters: Yoda and the Sith lord. It does have 'lore' about the early activities of the jedi and the "witches" which, very early on, tapped into and used the power of the force. People are just mad because it doesn't link to their favourite characters, to which countless movies have been produced giving them their specific lore, this is something new shock horror. I think this show has been successful in bringing both long time watchers of star wars and people who may not have watched any of the movies together. I think they crafted the episodes well, creating a interesting story line that helped us understand about the potential of the force and how it was used in 'less modern' timelines to which the more classic movies were based. Overall, I really enjoyed the series and hope it gets continued. Just because the show may not appeal to you, don't ruin it for others by leaving insanely negative reviews; it's never that deep.
