A boy called Jacob, a simple story explaining adventures and miseries of a young boy persecuted with his entire family by the nazists. Running away from Yugoslavia, seeking refuge in Italy first and later in different continents. The story shows one peculiar aspect of the italian culture, which is often defined "leopard skin".
While italians were allied with the nazists fighting the yugoslavians at the same time found a way to save jews when possible. This was only one of many examples where italians soldiers and civils helped the jews, but at the same time there might be other cases going in the opposite direction. Written in a very simple way and it is read in a heart beat.
