The first season is written the best. Loved the witty Hope and repartee between Jack and Mel when she first meets Jack and gets drunk at the bar. Love this juxtaposed against the drama. The following seasons lose that crisp dialogue and become more monotonous. Should have elevated that love triangle. Jack is a MARINE for goodness sake. His only complaint about Cameron is he can’t cook steak? Loved Martin Henderson’s portrayal of a guy waking up in bed and luring Mel back to bed with “I need attention”. Mel looks bored with the love scenes whereas Jack looks like a guy who wants it. Let’s get crisper with the dialogue again, bring back some funny, and Mel let’s jump this hunk like you mean it!!
