Didn’t read the series until after watching the first season and man did they miss the boat on what this first season could have been. Honestly it was entertaining enough to perk my interest into the series but after reading the series, it’s pathetic to seeing what they did to it, Robert Jordan probably wrote the the easiest series ever created to be adapted to the screen yet the directors and producers missed the boat. Literally seems like they are removing all the best parts of the series in my opinion in order push a more female strength pov. Which any reader of the series realizes isn’t necessary due to the already strong and very powerful female presence in the books. The final episode they remove the party’s encounter with the green man and recovery of the horn of valere. Not to mention Rand’s fight with the forsaken and the dark one which leads to a display of the dragons immense power, truly one of the momentous occurrences in the series. And instead show five female characters show more use of the power (in much less impressive storyline than the dragon does in the books) than the “DRAGON REBORN” literally the focal point of the series, just for the sake of their new culture war on men. Also in my opinion as only being on book 12 so far the first 4 books are the best with 12 shaping up to supplant one of those. But they butchered book one already, and I would say they are already shaping up to butcher book two. They should stop production on this farce before it’s too late!!!!
