Just watched a re screening of this glorious movie from 1989. Hard to believe it was 32 years ago. I was only 7 when it came out and I remember having all the toys. Fantastic choice in director Tim Burton who brings his dark, gothic vision of Gotham to the big screen. While I think Heath Ledgers portrayal of the Joker is brilliant in the dark knight, Jack Nicholsons take on the criminally insane villain has to be the most iconic. Michael Keaton delivers a quality performance as Batman which imo has yet to be surpassed. Really enjoyed watching this movie on the big screen. A dark yet light hearted movie taken straight from the comic book's. Tho the dark knight trilogy and the batman are all great movies, this classic has just enough charm and wit along with an incredible cast to propel it above all others, in my opinion anyways.
