I loved the vampire diaries and the originals so I had high standards for this but unfortunately it didn’t meet my expectations in the slightest Personally I think they made hope look weak in the scene where she battled josie or when that other girl called her a basic witch which I didn’t like because she is THE TRIBRID and honestly I think she carried the show which is why I actually kept watching it Don’t know why the only characters the brought back in season one out of everyone were Matt and Jeremy however happy that Freya and Kai joined in s2 I can rewatch tvd and TO many times and I have but I don’t think o can rewatch this

Love this show but if someone is reading reviews to see if they should watch it u need to watch the vampire diaries first to not just understand it but like see what they do because some of the scenes and flashbacks in the vampire diaries are mentioned in the originals so u have to watch that first .overall it is one of the best shows and I’ve binge watched it countless amount of times

The show is definitely worth watching and I absolutely love it and it rlly hooks the person watching and i 100% recommend

The best show everrrr Highly recommend it It’s a journey of emotions and is overall the best show I’ve ever watched next to the originals which is a spin-off of the vampire diaries which u should definitely watch after the vampire diaries . I’ve watched the whole show at least 15 times and I never get sick of it

Didn’t really like it near the third/fourth season the first couple of episodes were aryt but I thought if I kept watching maybe it will get better honestly it didn’t the only thing that kept me going was malec I had like 6 episodes left of the last season and I couldn’t bring myself to watch it and I wouldn’t watch it again
