A lazy excuse of a film. Immediately knew I was in for a bad ride the first time the director ham-fistedly shoehorned in the court-case sequence (which, coincidentally removed all suspense from this 'suspense filled' thriller). James Caan is criminally under written and directed, not to mention the two young 'pranksters', who are so unbelievably detestable (especially Logan Miller's young-buck-stereotype character) the audience has no choice but to empathise with the one character the entire film - bar the last five minutes - attempts to make them weary of.
The Good Neighbor has nothing of worth to bring to the table, and is left aspiring to the greats, indicative of the posters plastered onto Ethan's wall.
