Chris Matthews

Really hard to understand all the harsh reviews which can do so much damage (- there were only half a dozen of us watching this afternoon)!. I thought it was a remarkable attempt at what was a monster of a book. I read this when it first came out so my memory of the plot detail is perhaps a little sketchy but as far as I am concerned it captured the essence of it beautifully. I was enthralled for the whole two and a half hours - and especially enjoyed the portrayal of both young and older Boris.
