What a stunning cast - both male leads simply the best of their generation. Female support in Monica Bellucci less impactful but is their a more beautiful woman ever? (me thinks not.. ) shame as the location, dialogue, cinematography and pace are all great but latter part of the plot and specifically the ending is simply unfathomable and a huge confusing disappointment. I’m fine with “leave me to think about it” but this is just not plausible.. terrible end to a really promising and engaging film. Real shame.
