I have listened to all the books and watched season 1-3 of The Witcher. I loved season 1 & 2 story telling. But then in season 3 the direction of the season went crazy! I’d preferred more storyline and not just the same “event” rehashed. There is so much more rich and vibrant story in the books to be told that the repetition of an event was a waste of all the talented actors, set designers, costumes designers. So much more backstory could have been developed to give a sensational lead up to the fighting and aftermath. Let the story shine! It will give you the best return on your investment. How many times have I watched the entire series? To much to count, as I live to listen to its music while I’m working.
