You don't even find out why anything is happening (which is just senseless killings) until the last 20 minutes. So because this is the first film, that's kind of awkward. The only movie out of all of them to have some sort of reasonable plot twist. And if you plan on watching the next one, it will spend 10 minutes telling about the last movie's 20 minutes, basically nullifying your viewing experience and that process repeats in just about all the movies going forward. Just something you put on in the background at a party.
