What on earth? Reasonably good but it has NONE of the tension, storyline or gore of the webcomic. The iconic lines you remember in the webcomic aren't there, the charactor progression of the ML isn't there WHICH IS REALLY FRUSTRATING and the monsters DONT SPEAK LIKE THEY DO IN THE COMIC. The monsters just amble about and yes you get to learn a bit about them but it means NOTHING when the body acting isn't there and the makeup is so overdone its painful. It was, honestly? Really disappointing. The characters, I.E the Yakuza is someone you really struggle to like because it has NONE of the setup that it had in the webcomix. FL looks nothing like the FL of the webcomic. The characters that are setup and have roles in the comic are thrown away with a moments thought. The gangster is locked in a basement? WHICH NEVER HAPPENED. I am ALL for artistic interpretation but honestly? I think the core ethos of the series is lost. I also know this is ridiculous as it is literally just a series but dammit I dedicated 3yrs of my eyes to this comic and seeing it done so dirty drives me mad. Sorry for being a snowflake.
