Great to see another black BBC show. Was keen to see a potential competitor to Top Boy, but unfortunately this fell short, mainly due to the unrealistic story line. The music business isn't easy to crack, regardless of race, country or genre. Champion makes it seem otherwise. No one records a hit single first go... Needless to say, there are multiple steps before an artist/track hits the airwaves. Cool concept, but hard to believe. Still hoping for a second season.
