From the get go there are too many changes to the story in the book, that annoyed me so much I found it hard to watch. I mean, why change the lead character's 1958 (not 1960) name.
It could have been so much better if it had stayed true to the book.
There's a line spoken: "The book is always better than the film" - in this case 100% true.
