I don’t think this series is about Eli or Cornelia but perhaps a glimpse into what life was like for all that were trying to put together a life in extremely harsh conditions for themselves and their families, those who saw nothing but a way to get rich and the Indians who were having their land taken from them in horrific ways after the civil war was over. The story of Eli and Cornelia was beautifully told. Heart wrenching at times but definitely about more than that. I loved this series. Characters had great chemistry and that’s why it works.
