Two reviews from others (1) I think it's going to grow on me (2) That's the worst movie I've ever seen Both folk had enlightened expressions and smiles on their faces. Me? I get it. I might have directed some of it differently, but I felt it was brilliant.

Any movie with a plot twist about airbrushing history gets an "Okay!" from me. "Captive State" has similarities to the series "Colony", and some forced "thug" dialog that you can't learn (sorry guys) in acting school; but, give credit where it's due and try to soak up the film in one viewing. My complaint with the film was that at my age I'm constantly asking myself, "How do these guys get away with ... well, how do people so clueless get away with anything?" There's some pretty cool "Mission Impossible" shenanigans to cover the characters' weaknesses, though. Get 'em boys!! 4 star from me.
