My overall score: 8/10 This review will contain spoilers! Resident Evil: Degeneration was a really good movie! It's action-packed, true to the canon of Resident Evil, and overall a great movie. A clear storyline with wonderful acting, anyone who likes Resident Evil will enjoy this movie, even more so for Resident Evil 2 fans, as this movie stars Leon and Claire. Should this movie be rated R? I don't think so. The language used in the movie is rather mild compared to an actual Resident Evil game, and the blood isn't anything too graphic. I'd say that a mature teenager would be able to handle it perfectly fine (I'm 15 as of this review!), and I had no problem watching this. If you're someone who is motion sickness prone while playing the RE video games, I'd be a little careful with this movie. While I didn't feel bad while watching it, I developed a headache at the end/post-movie. I did have one peeve with this movie, and it's more of personal preference than a real peeve— Angela and Leon's relationship. While it was sweet that she felt the same way, Angela isn't seen in the series again and it felt like their 'romance' (one kiss scene [which was supposedly necessary to save her life, however it felt unnecessary], a few 'staring into each others eyes' and a flirty remark at the end) was a waste of time. Angela was a great character, and I would have liked to see a bit more of her character development on her own instead of pushing her into a romance with Leon, considering I don't think they had much chemistry at all. I feel like the movie might have been better if it was geared towards focusing on Claire and Leon' relationship— not necessarily romantically (though I do like Cleon...), considering they're who are on all the posters together, but to be honest, we don't get THAT much Claire and Leon content in the movie. On the other hand, everything else, Degeneration did right. You could watch this movie without any prior knowledge of Resident Evil and be fine, and there's references to the game (RE2) to those who are long-term fans! The action scenes are thrilling, and will keep you on the edge of your seat. The plot twists/villain reveals were incredibly enjoyable and it was a bit of a shock to me! The movie ending was great, and set up the events of RE5 wonderfully (I've yet to play RE5, but I've read the story's beginning/plot. If I remembered wrong, forgive me! >_<) Overall, Degeneration was a really enjoyable movie, and I can definitely see myself watching it again. While I do feel like Angela and Leon's brief romantic interest in each other was a waste, the movie has many, MANY more moments that are incredibly enjoyable. If you can, watch it!

(Note: my review contains spoilers for Modern Warfare 3's campaign) I'll be honest and say that I feel the reviews about MW3 are way off. I personally really enjoyed the campaign, and the multiplayer aspect game is fun as well. Though, there is a decent amount of bugs/glitches (ESPECIALLY private matches), it's nothing major (for a COD game at least) and I can tell there's been a huge improvement with private lobbies since MW2, which I highly appreciate since I play the game with my dad the majority of the time. The maps are fun and very well laid out IMO, and on my console (PS5), the game runs like a dream for the most part, with occasional lag here and there but never a common occurrence. I want to, specifically, talk about the campaign. Yes, it's relatively short– only about three to five hours depending on whether you rush through it or not. The campaign was GOOD. I play games specifically for the stories and I can say I did really enjoy MW3's (coming from someone who's favorite campaign is Cold War & MW2). The story kept me on the edge of my seat, and I loved getting to see more of Farah, and even Yuri and Alex made their debuts (campaign-wise). Makarov made a great villain (in the sense you'll hate his guts), and Soap's death was an unexpected twist that really punches you in the gut if you weren't expecting it. The campaign was difficult for me even on regular mode, adding an extra challenge to it. Since everything can't always be sunshine and rainbows, I'll talk about a few issues I had with the game along with some opinions. I do feel that MW3 was rushed to take advantage of the MW2 hype. That's why the campaign didn't live up to anyone's expectations– when you're rushing a sequel for an amazing campaign, the bar will be set WAY too high to reach. I think this game would have been a lot better off if they stuck with their original plan for a MW2 campaign DLC, and maybe then there'd have been more to the story instead of the ending with Price killing Shephard. There is as per usual, bugs– though I haven't encountered too bad of them, I can't play certain modes in Private Matches which gets old fast. Cutscenes/cinematics are not pauseable or skippable, which really suck but isn't thst big of a bother. Overall, it's a decent game if you like the Call of Duty franchise, but I don't think these super horrible reviews are accurate at all. Is it worth the money? If you don't play that often/buying just for campaign, I'd recommend you pass and just watch the campaign (as most of the story is portrayed through the cinematics/cutscenes). If you do, however– go for it!
