Big fan of freddie mercury and queen. This was another movie that went way too in depth on only one bandmate's background. It hardly talked about the lyrics behind the music and the whole thing was about freddie's bad relationships and drug habits. The movie didn't go into the other bandmates lives behind the stage, only freddie's. Don't watch this if you want to learn more about queen's music behind the instruments and lyrics.

Huge fan of elton john but this movie was terrible. One of the most depressing movies that I've seen in my life. The whole thing is about elton's drug and alcohol addictions. Probably a good half hour of the movie is homosexual scenes that were contributed way too in depth into the movie. It didn't even explain the origins of the music that well or introduced the other band mates that he had. If you want to see this movie for his music, don't- cause it doesn't elaborate any of it. This movie is literally only about his problems in his life, there were almost no happy scenes in this movie.
