So bad. So so bad. It's almost worth watching just to see how spectacularly bad it is.

Easily Mike Flanagan's worst work. Interesting premise, but the pay off was frankly insulting and ridiculous. It also felt extremely preachy and over the top when addressing themes of existentialism and consciousness. I also felt it vilified Christianity in a very obvious manner and painted devout Christians and the bible in a very poor light.

A spectacle of a movie. Best viewed in IMAX. This belongs in a museum of movie making. Denis Villeneuve at his storming best. A sequel to match The Dark Knight, The Empire Strikes Back and Terminator Judgement Day.
