Raymond Lavengood

I could watch paint dry and it would have more emotional depth and story than this movie. In the movie it talked about all the interesting things that were happening in the world yet it focused on a boring family that had zero personality. It marketed itself as an alien movie but the message in the end was to have “faith” and that things happen for a reason, which just made it seem like a typical religious movie that had to hide itself as something greater so people would watch it. If the entire family died in the end then I would have at least gotten some enjoyment. If I wanted to rate it accurately on here, it would be in the negatives. Liked Joaquin Phoenix though.
