I go back to this serie from time to time. This was my first K-drama when I watched it in 2012. Will always have a special place, and so does Kang Maru aka Song Joongki. As far as the serie is concerned, it is a melodrama and might not be to everyone's liking, but it has enough drama blended with some amount of suspense and heart-wrenching scenes, that might make even the hard hearted to tear up. Give it a watch; it won't be a waste of your 20 hours. PS. Keep a few tissues on hand, and be ready to be wrecked completely by SJK.

I loved Remarriage and Desires. One of those short serie with intense story and plot twists. Whenever there's a Korean drama with those 0.1% population, that's rich and powerful, come's out, we can anticipate lots of drama, great plot and a good cast. This one lived out all expectations. For those of you who have watched and liked Mine, & Sky Castle among others will enjoy this one. Plus, it's only 8 episodes of around 50-55 mins. You can finish in one sitting if you are a binge watcher like me. Hoping there's another season full of remarriage and desires soon.

Writing this review after more than a year of watching the K-Drama. I just finished watching Alice in Borderland S2 and I thought this was required. I enjoyed the episodes thoroughly. It had the element of "what happens next?", "which is the next game?", "who will survive?", "who betrays?". Executed well. Acting is great. Overall, must watch. Those who knew nothing of K-drama, have watched it, with subs, audio in their native language or dubbed versions. That says it all. With the expectations of Season 2 high, I hope it comes out sooner.

Season 1 was unexpectedly great. In a way, similar to the concept to Squid Games, but a lot better than it. There's suspense till the end, and you keep wanting more. Season 1 had ended on a cliffhanger and Season 2 took off where it had left. Season 2 gave a lot of explanations or more like, possibilities. The games were brutal this time and we got to see a few more characters. The original characters from Season 1 (the main ones) were there till the end and some character development can be seen. We learn a lot about other characters as the season goes about. The last two episodes felt a bit dragged for me, but I understand that it the story was necessary, if only it was slightly shorter episodes. Spoiler alert!!! It's an open ending. Season 3 is definitely happening. What are the secrets behind these games?

The serie ended on a high, but the last episode felt like something is missing. The script writer just explained that it was not a time travel or possession, just repentance. Maybe if that were explained properly, I would have felt satisfied. The acting from Song Joongki is great. Harabuji role was done fiercely. Just a bit of romance. Lots of suspense. Power struggle. Fight for fairness. In the end, the wrongs were righted. Except 16th episode I'd rate all the other episodes as a 10/10, and maybe, 8.5 for 16th.
