Worst movie that I have ever seen in my life, I got tricked by the trailer thinking that this movie was about the science behind the atomic bomb and a story between well developed characters (as Nolan was used to) with some memorable action (usually an important component of Nolan’s work) instead it is a 3 hours long sadistic torture about the moral and philosophical dilemma of building the nuclear weapon offered in “broken record” style (to make sure that you get bored to the bone) mixed with continuous flash backs, conversations, arguments, disputes, senate and what not hearings about possible leaks to the soviets. No science whatsoever and no action nor special effects. As a matter of facts I don’t get why the movie is largely advertised to be available in 70mm IMAX format when the only action scene (the bomb test scene) lasts probably no more than 5 minutes, the rest is only dialog mainly happening indoor. 8mm standard definition format would have been more than fine and it could have saved a bit of production money. If you are expecting something like sunshine, inception and interstellar be ready to be disappointed.
