Amazing movie. It’s definitely dark and for adults, but accurately depicts how circumstance can determine the choices someone will make. It really gets you thinking about how you treat others. Joker isn’t portrayed as a hero at all. It’s just an accurate depiction of someone with a messed up life that turns into a criminal. Joaquin Phoenix plays the part exceptionally well, best joker to date.
