Horizon: Chapter 1 is the best American Western film since Tombstone. I've waited a long time for a Western equal to Tombstone. Let the critics squawk, Horizon is a classic. The storyline of chapter 1 introduces key players and their history along with the birth & rebirth of the frontier town, Horizon. Chapter 2 releases in August and i am really excited to learn how the characters' lives intersect. That this is a four part saga reminds me of The Lord of the Rings trilogy by Peter Jackson and also of how so many critics predicted gloom and doom for that series. If you're a fan of Westerns, give yourself the benefit of seeing this film in theaters. I haven't been to a theater in a decade and I am so satisfied that i went today to see Horizon.
