ClearSky Cup

I got this game yesterday and I’m already so hooked. I got both DLCs and have been playing the soundtrack on loop. I love Pokémon, but lately I’ve been desperate for something new. You can only replay the same slightly reskinned game so many times before it gets boring. CUE MY INTRODUCTION TO THIS GAME VIA YOUTUBE REVIEW VIDEO From the moment the create your character screen popped up I loved this game not only for the art style, but also because for the first time ever I could set my pronouns to they/them in a video game. You have no idea how much joy the brought me! (everytime i restart Pokémon I go through a whole crisis over which character to pick based on whether “she” or “he” make me feel less ick). Not only that, but the pronoun choice had no impact on what character customization options were available! Then we get to starter selection, and I burst out laughing when the stickers popped up to choose from! Truly my favorite way a game has ever asked me to pick a starter, class, gimmick etc. The world traversal is amazing (i usually get pretty overwhelmed by completely open world games, but something about this game makes it feel like no matter where I go or what I do I’ll discover something new and fun). I love the monster sprites I love the Fusion gimmick I love the town I love the plot I love the characters I LOVE THAT ESTATE AGENTS ARE THE ENEMY! I love the soundtrack Everything is just so good. I dont care if this game never gets another update, dlc, or sequel. It’s incredible the way it is and has quickly made its way into being one of my favorite games.
