To each his/her own when it comes to taste and liking/disliking a film. Personally, I thought it was really bad. I’m a big fan of everyone involved in the film and I was excited to see it because of the director and cast. Now I just wish I could have my 3.5 hours back. I’m not an art critique by any means, but I know what I like and what I don’t. This movie was far too long and boring for me to give it more than 1 star. It is an absolute shame and atrocity that the Osage people experienced this in reality, so their story is certainly worthy of being shared. However, it just didn’t have an impact. There was no character development, no suspense, highs or lows. Just a bunch of repetitive lows throughout. Definitely not a “masterpiece” as advertised.
