Im a huge battlefield fan, however, battlefield 2042 has nothing to offer me as a fan. It feels like they've pulled away from the balanced flanking, choke neck battles with gritty weapons/reloads and emersive man vs vehicular combat. To give us a poor rendition of operators with clunky weapons which are so in balanced its only worth using afew. The maps feel like open space with small amounts of objects or generic buildings placed in various scattered locations. I've only rated it 2 stars and that's in the hope of redemption, otherwise bye bye to battlefield for me
