I don’t understand why Hollywood can’t seem to learn from past mistakes. I now have to be genuinely worried for my kids and what kind of atrocities will be performed on their beloved childhood books. Clearly there’s no hope for me. We’ve seen it time and time again; Percy Jackson, The Last Airbender, And now we can throw Artemis Fowl into the mix. What exactly do you think we want when we see our favorite characters and fantasy worlds on the big screen? Don’t strain yourself coming up with the answer, I’ll tell you what it’s not... we DON’T want to see them butchered like this. We DON’T want you to depart so horribly from the story matter we can’t tell elves from pixies and friend from foe. We DON’T want to have clutch our books to our chests as we sit through this ninety-minute cringe fest and resist the urge to scream D’arvit at the top of our lungs every time we see Artemis doing something Artemis would never do. This was terrible. It smells as though it came from the tail-end of a dwarf. I’ve met trolls more pleasant than this movie. Honestly so disappointed.

Literally the GOAT. Been my favorite show since I was this tall and still is to date. #Zutara (you can't change my mind)
