The book is the unfortunate result of a combination of misrepresentation of data, a gross misunderstanding of the actual science and the resulting misguided attempt to justify right wing political agendas.It has a lot of short comings and has been widely criticized by the scientific community, and should, if anything, only be used as a example of what not to do. -Julian Schaal
