So I've been a fan of Godzilla movies my entire life. The last Godzilla movie that I actually liked was the one that came out in 2014, because it had a decent storyline and I felt it respected the original Godzilla films. All of the Godzilla movies since then, have been trash. The fight scenes are good but the movies are garbage. Unnecessary characters, forced comedic scenes, terrible storylines... Just awful Now to Godzilla Minus 1. Probably the best movie of the year and hands down the greatest Godzilla movie of all time. Not even close. Better than the original 1954 film. It wasn't just a good Godzilla movie, this is a very good movie in general. The plot, the acting, all the emotion woven into the storyline... Amazing. This is a must see. As someone that normally cheers for the bad guy, I couldn't help but to find myself rooting for the good guys. Disclaimer, if you cannot read you might want to sit this one out. Subtitles. 🤓

All the had to do was remake the original with modern cgi. That's literally all they had to do. But noooo.... We need to .... ****SPOILERS**** Randomly add a character that isn't in ANY of the games and make him the main character of the movie. Liu Kang, the guy that wins the tournament in the video games and original movie, was extremely weak and couldn't beat anyone. Goro literally loses his first fight to a random guy that couldn't beat a no-name local mma fighter. The plot had promise but shortly crashed and burned. I hate when writers change things for the worse. Pretty disappointing.

I was worried about spoilers and rumors of a poor storyline. I'm about 15 hours into this game and it's amazing. It's a damn shame that people review bombed this game 2 hours after it was playable. Clearly didn't play the game and clearly have some bigoted agenda. For those looking for an actual review, buy this game. The storyline is great, everything happens for a reason, the gameplay is extraordinary and the graphics are arguably the best of this generation.
