I looked up reviews for this movie, but decided to give it a try. I enjoyed the beginning of the movie, but when the returning character of Chris MacNeil appeared. The way she spoke about her daughter’s exorcism was disgusting. She acted like a huge Karen. I wasn’t allowed in the room during my daughter’s exorcism “because I wasn’t a part of their damn patriarchy.” What an appalling thing to say, especially since both priests sacrificed themselves to save Regan. How dare this TRASH ASS movie just disrespect the first film. Shame on the director and writers responsible for this travesty! Do not watch this atrocious movie, especially if like me, you are a fan of the classic film. As for me, it doesn’t exist within the exorcist franchise. If you want something to watch that actually respects the first film. I suggest the exorcist tv series.
