Just finished s3 and this is by far one of my favourite law tv shows.I appreciate the balance between the personal lives of Abby and Co whilst also diving in their line of work and how they tackle the cases.
I felt the writing could have been made better,c'mon we're far along in s3 and your telling me Abby and her relationship with Sofia, her daughter is still rocky??I get that it could be a depiction of a real life situation where mother and daughter don't ever get along always, but I felt more could have been achieved from their relationship.Unlike Abby's son Nick who appreciates the small gestures from her mom,Sofia does the opposite,I mean, not always, but c'mon their relationship would have been way healthier and better now.
I think that's one of the striking problems I have with the show thus far, I don't want to delve more into Abby and Daniel's relationship as well.
I mean are you saying they're going to have friction always? Yes they are siblings and siblings are always at each other's throats, but with Daniel and Abby, this is so unhealthy.
Also how Lucy was so unappreciative to Abby.
I feel Abby has been through so much, can't she get a break?
On a lighter note,it was pleasing to see Frank appreciate Daniel's efforts and promote him to Equity Partner and also see Frank and Abby's relationship become a bit smooth.
I hope season 4 irons some of these out,but overall it was a good watch thus far.
