Robin Duff

Saw this film decades ago, was sort of ok then, but watching it in 2023, found it so dated and slow I struggled to get through it. Dancing stiff and amateurish in today's world and the story was sickly sugary sweet ..I also saw Guys and Dolls again recently, another time warp musical, and contrary to Sweet Charity, it was slick, sharp and way underrated at the time and still is. interesting how old movies strike us years later.
