I watched this series in one whole sitting, not something I normally do but I was hooked after the first episode.
After watching the whole series I'm still thinking about parts of it hours after I watched it. Between love, sadness, fear, horror, lust and tension there's a story woven between the past and the present and involving the sometimes complicated, interwoven lives of a small cast of characters. Set during a prolonged, cataclysmic subglacial eruption on Iceland where the ash has caused very poor light quality, which only adds to the sombre darkness of the story.
Trigger warning the series does cover suicide, child death and child murder, which are obviously subjects that not everyone can watch and not be affected by.
