I wish it was a true story, I would be heading to the Oxbow now. I have watched this movie at least 25 times. I have it on VHS and on DVD and a few years back when I lived in northern Wisconsin I did not have cable or get good reception so I watched a lot of movies on VHS. Its a shame what happened to the Cheyenne at Sand Creek in 1864 and at the Washita in 1868.
