Good God it starts off slow! Scenes that just go on with no clear point or direction as if the audience isn't necessarily on the same ride. The 'multiple characters' aspect dies off fairly quick so it certainly isn't a Nutty Professor type of wacky comedy.
Once you get past all that, about 45 minutes in, it becomes a fairly enjoyable movie. With even a bit of character growth. I think it could have been better, especially with Jason Bateman as a producer, but you could do worse.
