I left feeling depressed. It was the life of Elvis narrated from the perspective of a despicable person in his life who used him. I just wanted him to shut up and cut the clips of him gambling in his hospital gown so I could see Austin Butler more and Tom Hanks much less. There were too many fast transitions of fragmented scenes, and right when you were connecting emotionally, it would break to something else, which went on throughout the film. I would have loved to have just seen one complete movie without all the flash and jumps and fragments. I gave it three stars for Austin Butler, who was 5 star amazing — the director/producer 0.
