This film is just so stunning to look at, the landscapes, the colours, the cinematography.
Some gorgeous and very popular at the time actors in the lead roles and their acting is top-notch.
The story is drawn out but keeps you engaged. You see Lawrence's transformation (well actually his downfall) over the course of the film. Lawrence at the beginning is an eccentric, energetic hero and champion of Arab nationalism.
At the end he's a shell of a man. Traumatised, ruthless, disturbed and realises he was fighting a losing battle against the policies of his own government.
This film inspired me to read a biography on Lawrence and I'm glad I did.
