This film depicts the story of mamangam festival on the banks of bharatapuzha in 17 th century and lives upto its standared .Actors especially Mammotty and Master Achyuthan did great job.The female expressions of Mammotty is hard to believe that it has been performed by usually stiff Mammotty.It may not be a blockbuster movie but it is a heartbuster movie.
