wow. this film is great. i think the people who don’t like it don’t really understand it. it’s not for everyone, it’s not even for me, but that was an impressive movie. i like when movies don’t follow a predictable plot and kind of make their own rules. it’s obvious the main character is a psychopath and there’s something clearly wrong with him but i like that that’s the only thing they give us. you kind of have to interpret everything else on your own. the ending scene was an uncomfortable closure and i cannot really explain how i feel about it. i am scarred, disturbed, and unsettled by this movie. i don’t want to ever watch it again but i loved it. i’m a fourteen year old girl by the way.

INSANE. THE BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME. the book is better but omg this cast is amazing like nina dobrev, emma watson, logan lerman, paul rudd??? incredible. i was so sad that the sister’s story/plot line got cut out of the movie but that scene at the end where charlie calls his sister and it ends with charlie saying “what if i wanted her to die, candace?” and then hangs up and candace says “charlie? CHARLIE?!” and her voice breaks oh my god that was unreal. i have to take a deep breath and pause after watching that scene every time. i am not a certified movie critic but trust in me when i say this movie changes lives. i recommend reading the book first (it’s a quick read) i’ve read it dozens of times and it takes me a day tops to read it usually.

absolutely astonishing. i watched this movie for the first time a couple weeks ago (i am fourteen) and i have not stopped thinking about it since. this movie might be one of the greatest films in history. it’s like the perks of being a wallflower but more uncomfortable and gritty and emotionless and it felt so real. this movie is insanely good and if you haven’t watched it as a teenager, it’s a must. 6/5 stars.
