There is very little left from the books. The story is slow and and dark. The are unnecessary pseudo sex scenes at all times. May be whomever wrote it thought they could spice it with this unreal twists in the characters. Trying to adapt the series to the current woke culture doesn’t help make it better either. Just sad.
