Rebecca Merchant

This is the best historical nonfiction I have read yet, and I usually don't read nonfictions. The multi-character storyline made the book have lots of depth and helped tell 4 different stories from how life was during the Sino-Japanese war. These women's stories are all so diverse and interesting, making it feel made-up and then giving you an amazing feeling when you realize this all actually happened. Very good book, I definitely recommend this book to people who both like and dislike nonfiction.
