Although it is set in the 90s, I didn't expect the humour to be similarly stylised. For me, as far as fun entertainment goes, it was more Ricky Gervais than Peter Kay but without the wit of either. Love Sian Gibson's acting but, on this showing, not the writing. Humour works best when characters & situations are credible.
