Trust me I get it. Doesn’t mean it needs to be a 2 hour movie tho.

After reading the 1 star reviews on this I can not believe that is what those people took from this movie, it is laughable. At face value this movie is enjoyable and good. When looked at deeper along with the soundtrack it is without a doubt a masterpiece and that is coming from a 21 year old in 2024. If you like cinema I would highly encourage giving this film a watch.

I left this at 4 stars but honestly I could give It 5 after a second watch. One of the most confusing journeys I have ever been on but at that a unforgettable one. I think all of the themes of Beau are displayed great in the movie giving a insane depiction of stress and anxiety and also passing those feelings down to the audience. I laughed during so much of this movie which is more because of my sense of humor but if you enjoy unhinged and dark humor there’s more than enough laughs in this one and that’s not really the point of the film. Having all those laughs in this f’ed up story is almost needed as this movie is very heavy with how over the top it can be at times. Either so much crazy things were happening at once and you get this great sense of being overwhelmed but interested or it takes you through a slow dark build to something completely unpredictable. At that unpredictable is probably the word that wraps this up the most. Hard to compare this movie to anything, kinda gives me like a clockwork orange kinda feel but in 2023 where the world is a lot more messed up and we have the ability to create scenes like the attic scene or the end of the movie. Last note which is definitely the most important, do not try to figure this movie out. If you look for all the hidden messages your first time watching I feel as it will make the experience really annoying and confusing as the movie is but if you can take in the spectacle of it I feel you might understand the story more. It is funny seeing people complain about this show after only a couple episodes or expecting a shot for shot remake of BB. This show is character drama masterpiece and if you have the brain to sit down and take in a drawn out story. One of my favorite shows ever and I don't have anything bad to say about this actually WATCH IT.
