The only reason I managed to keep my eyes on the screen was the mind-blowing BGM by RAVI BASRUR sir, which was the medicine to how terrible the dialogues and acting was. Only such a fantastic BGM 🔥🔥🔥🔥, was enough for them to get away with such terrible writing. Fighting scenes are alright, but the BGM carries the fighting scenes also. The music score by sir is the only reason why I felt like giving 2/5, otherwise that also I didn't want to give. The story is not bad, but the entire movie is very dragged. Only part worth watching for the story, is the second half. Don't know what to expect for Part 2 tbh. Also, it's a good watch if you're a Prabhas fan and his action movies, he actually looks really really good in this film.

In the midst of social media's obsession with "Oppenheimer", honestly we're missing out on such a brilliant film here. It was my birthday yesterday, and I decided to go out with my parents in India to watch a film. Mind you, my mom is a very traditional woman who watches standard Indian tv serials, cooking shows, etc, and I can't remember the last time I saw her genuinely be entertained by a film. I saw this woman manage to fall asleep in the theatre when we went to watch Avengers: End Game alongside tons of other screaming fans in the room. I knew I couldn't see Barbie or Oppenheimer, I decided to go with watching Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 instead. And I did not regret it one bit. In today's obsession with trying to put VFX and advanced animation in everything, it was honestly refreshing to see something done in real time and clearly show all the hard work and effort the team members have put in physically and manually into making each and every single take of this film. it's popularly known that Tom Cruise does his own stunts, and at this age he still delivers tremendously. The sceneries were absolutely stunning, the stunts, and the intense plan execution scenes were just brilliant. I like how they centred the plot and scenes around modern day issues and technology. And me being amazed was enough, but then I turn around to see both my parents fully awake, watching the film beginning to end, absolutely awestruck at the films. My mom was fully awake, and she was genuinely entertained. My mom kept asking me why are we not watching such movies anymore again and again as we left the movie theatre. Its sad that in this obsession with Barbenheimer, it's as if this movie is being kept unfairly under the wraps, and it absolutely deserves the best. Kinda reminds me of the old school way of shooting movies, and I was impressed with the dialogues, and how they didn't try to make feeble attempts at jokes the entire movie, which I'm kinda fed up of now as I'm seeing it in many action/superhero movies today. Tom Cruise keeps it classic while holding on to relevant issues in this movie! All in all: I cannot WAIT for part 2 of this series.

If you have never seen an entertaining yet morally heartbreaking, 600 crore parody of something, you will see it after watching Adipurush. It was like a watching a funny audition on YouTube from a show like x factor or idol, but it's a 3 hour audition of people failing at attempting to remake Ramayana without any preparation, very vague knowledge of what happens in the story, and doing it live for millions to see. I walked out of the theatre thinking "this is a joke, right? lol" I don't entirely blame the actors; I only wonder how much they had to control themselves from laughing or crying when doing the skit. The only one who acted sort of okay, in my opinion, was Saif Ali Khan as Raavan. I genuinely was laughing the whole time in the theatre, beginning to end. Because the minute it started, I didn't see the Ramayana, didn't see any of the people like Ram, Sita, Hanuman, Raavan, etc. I saw a comedy. Don't hate me for mocking and laughing at the film. I am laughing at the work the creators were shameless enough to make to make money in the name of religious sentiments and Indian history. At the end of the day, I am ashamed at what the creators have done to such a timeless tale like the Ramayana. We should be hating them for thinking they could mock the Ramayana and make such a comedic interpretation of it for the world to see. Just one question: where can I get statues that randomly sing like the character Raavan has in his castle? I want to buy them, put them all over my bedroom wall, so they can be my alarm to wake me up every morning.

seriously don't understand why rotten tomatoes gave 33% for this movie. i know news channels have some sort of agenda they follow for their ratings, but i didn't know rotten tomatoes critics started having an agenda too. and this movie doesn't abide by it looks like, so that's why the low rating. don't go by these ratings, watch the movie and judge for yourself. personally, from beginning to end, i was very VERY entertained. the movie teaches you a lot actually. reminds us that to this day, even with strong police forces and organizations, people still use money to cover up terrible things like murder and rape, in several countries. many countries may show "low crime rates" or "low harrassment against women", but how do we not know that the reason for that is only because people have a lot of money in those countries to cover up for their crimes? huge props to the director, and the actors especially aditya roy kapur for giving awesome delivery!

This show resonates 100% with some people in this world, and it's unexplainable why exactly....and I'm one of those people.

DONT LISTEN TO THE CRITIC REVIEWS! Genuinely don't understand why the critics gave such bad reviews. Jokes on them though, the audience gave very good reviews. This womans struggle is real, and faced by many Indians who go abroad. My mother has faced this raising me and my little brother in a foreign country. There's nothing wrong in this movie, nothing exaggerated, people who don't understand the pain and passionate expression of emotions and behavior of the mother don't understand or have possibly never felt the pain of a mother being separated from their children. And you realize as the movie progresses, that her pain and suffering is all a part of a huge business to make fast, cheap money. And the absolute hostility that all those people treated this woman with in this movie, they acted so well, portraying exactly the hostility, the disgust with which they look at a loving mother who just wants to be reunited with her kids. And the way in-laws back in India suck up to foreign policies or basically anything foreign and blame the mother for not maintaining kids well is spot on. They portray her as a crazy, unstable, "unprofessional" woman, when the reality is that they are making sure THEY bring out the worst in the poor mother by acting extra diplomatically and being "poised" hostile, so they have a REASON to separate the children from the woman to use for their business purposes. And these people claim to be from "child welfare services" , being that inhumane and not understanding lmfao. If they would rather keep the children around an old fat guy who's asleep all the day, and a woman who probably makes frozen food (yes, this is in the movie), over a woman who has all the tools to raise HER CHILDREN properly, then that shows you how business minded and inhumane all these people are. And i like how they show that there are Indians abroad who use the "humare log hai" sentiment to gain the trust of other Indian families for them to profit from this business. they separate the children from the family, thinking it's because of the "crazy, hand-feeding, unprofessional mother", when the real abuser and reason for the unstable family is the "professional, money making, controlled " husband. the only reason the kids are happy in that house is because of the mother who handles everything. These sorts of countries know nothing about the power of a loving mother in a family structure or raising children properly, but will criticize and legally judge a mother who can love and raise her children much better than many of them will ever know. Is there some sort of agenda the critics are following to make sure the Norwegian government doesn't get any bad name or something? If that's their worry, that's not the problem here. These unfair practices can happen anywhere, the main issue here is the business they're running, nothing exclusive to that country only.

Have been looking for the perfect show to learn Spanish, randomly came across this one on Netflix, and now I can say I found one of my favorite shows of all time on Netflix! This show is beautifully shot, simple, funny, not too dark and intense, and is family friendly! Yet, it is very dramatic, can teach you a little about business and the fashion world, and has an awesome story line, and the actors act very well! Just watch with english subtitles, I assure you, it will be worth your time. The romantic moments are truly romantic, and some intimate scenes are there, but nothing too far. you can watch with the family for sure. I have been getting sick and tired, SICK. AND. TIRED., of these netflix shows which are too dark, intense, extremely sexual, and triggering for absolutely no reason, with a terrible story that makes no sense and yet tries to show some big society message. Netflix needs more shows like Velvet in my opinion. Ana and Alberto's love story is one thing, but there is so much going on in the show, with their friends, their loved ones, their not-so-loved ones, the company velvet itself. You realize that they're all like one big family! It's all connected so well in the storyline, and the humor is so good! Oh my god the characters Clara, Don Emilio, Pedro, Jonas, Raul de la Riva, even Barbara, they are hilarious!!! My favorite characters from the show, I love all of them, but I have to go with Ana and Raul de la Riva.
